Package: xorriso
Version: 1.1.0-1
If xorrisofs is used without -o, it outputs something that certainly isn't a
valid ISO image:
$ mkdir dummy; touch dummy/dummy
$ xorrisofs dummy/ > dummy.iso
xorriso 1.1.0 : RockRidge filesystem manipulator, libburnia project.
Drive current: -outdev 'stdio:/dev/fd/1'
Media current: stdio file, random write-only
Media status : is blank
Media summary: 0 sessions, 0 data blocks, 0 data, 37.4g free
Added to ISO image: directory '/'='/tmp/dummy'
xorriso : UPDATE : 1 files added in 1 seconds
xorriso : UPDATE : 1 files added in 1 seconds
xorriso : UPDATE : 100.00% done
ISO image produced: 183 sectors
Written to media : 183 sectors at LBA 0
Writing to 'stdio:/dev/fd/1' completed successfully.
$ file dummy.iso
dummy.iso: data
$ od -t x1 dummy.iso
