Such things could possibly improve with the use of override
targets for debhelper.

I would like to go for format "3.0 (quilt)" immediately,
which would also include 'dh' as the preferred instrument.

No! Upstream has painted himself into a corner out of prestige
and displays an implicit decision that each single documentation
must contain every piece of information available about each feature.
Thus I deem it impossible to get them to change their view on
documentation.  Only if upstream produces something superior to
whatever I will achieve with 'libisoburn.3', and relatives, only
then should we abondon my additions. Besides, I will write it to
be correct only for GNU/Linux and GNU/kFreeBSD, not bothering
about portability at all.
