(And how to merge it into my development branch ?)

What does #00027 refer to ? ... google ... oh, Vreixo's old todo list.
I would have to decipher what he meant and check whether it is still
a current problem.

The current development branch is
  lp:~libburnia-team/libisofs/scdbackup
Did you base your change on that code ?
(I do not know how to change the overall libisofs project description.)

Well, i am not much experienced with distributed development.
I can apply patches, if you submit them.
More elaborate and elegant ways of cooperation would have to be
developed. I am open to proposals and examples.

In general we should discuss changes before they get implemented.

In this case i would like to know in what way the current :1999
tree generator violates the specs. (I will have to search for those
specs. Maybe i understand when i see your change. :))
