Okay, and thanks for your helping hand.
You can also subscribe to libburn-hackers at pykix.org, where the upstream is
discussed. If you want to also help the packaging effort, then
pkg-libburnia-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org is to be used.
Nevertheless, it would make sense to also evaluate xfburn [XFBURN], which is a
lean and functional GUI over the top of libburnia libraries. If you deemed
unsuitable for any reason, then you can at least grab some ideas from it.
