[Pkg-libvirt-discuss] [New Package] Sanlock

Hi,

I would like to see sanlock in Debian. It's a lock-manager which ensures that only one libvirt managed virtual machine accesses a vm image at a time. This is useful if you use NAS, SAN or any kind of clustered filesystem based storage to prevent corruptions my multiple access at the same time.

This package provides wdmd which is a heartbeat daemon and the sanlock daemon which does the real job. Libvirt need's to build-depend on that package to create the sanlock client plugin. Perhaps it would be the best to create a libvirt-sanlock package which only ships this plugin.

For the license see http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=sanlock.git;a=blob;f=README.license;h=9bf5cae09fc44d7050c89535f0a8b49f23fcae3d;hb=HEAD

You can download my attempt to build the package in the bug report:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=669102

This is my first Debian package so please be lenient if there are serious problems :)

Cheers
David
