[Pkg-libvirt-discuss] migrating from XCP to libvirt/KVM on Debian

Hi all,

I recently posted a query[1] on the upstream users mailing list about
migrating some dev environments from XCP on wheezy to libvirt+KVM on stretch

I have separate boxes for this, I fully understand it isn't possible to
simply "apt-get dist-upgrade" from wheezy/XCP to stretch/KVM

Could anybody provide any tips about which packages or scripts may be
helpful or specific blogs or wiki pages that may be relevant to a
project like this?

One reply on the upstream list mentioned oVirt but that doesn't appear
to be packaged right now. Are there any equivalents worth looking at or
would it be sufficient for me to use virsh and virt-manager for my use case?

Regards,

Daniel
