You only have to have the default network running if you use it. Your VM
configuration has:
<interface type='network'>
<mac address='54:52:00:0a:7f:c2'/>
<source network='default'/>
</interface>
So as long as you reference it, you need to have it running. Drop that
from your VM configuration and you won't need it.
