Package: virtinst
Version: 0.400.3-4
Severity: normal
--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
A network Virtio driver is available for Windows 2000, XP and Vista (and I
successfully tested it in Windows Server 2003 and Windows 7 too) but there is
no support for it in Windows variants from the OS dictionary. Using a Virtio
NIC needs to install the driver in the virtual machine so perhaps some people
will not agree with this, but at least a new Windows variant should be added
to the list to allow to install a Windows virtual machine with network Virtio
support.
