I think so. I'm using a qemu config from root (virsh start guest), so I
think it is qemu:///system.

No, they are mylogin:mylogin. I created the images before using libvirt.
If it is a problem of permission (I cannot check now : I need to be in
front of the host because I lost all network connexion when I stop
the VM), it would be good that somethink showup in the log (either at
starting time before running the guest or at runtime when qemu try to
open the file).
My images are plain files (raw format)
