This problem has already been reported and solved in Ubuntu:

Since qemu-kvm-0.14 landed, I can no longer run virtual machines if I use
virtio for the disk and specify a kernel in the libvirt.xml. Starting
such a VM yields an error:
Two devices with same boot index 0

An upstream patch is already available:
