Not sure if this is correct protocol, but I wanted to make this information
available as I had a tough time figuring it out myself.

I ran into this same issue, but version 0.9.0-2 was not available for my arch
(amd64).  After much mucking about I was able to resolve it by downgrading
to udev from stable (164-3).  This seems to have fixed the issue for me.
