Package: virt-manager
Version: 0.9.4-2
Severity: normal
Hi.
I was trying to use a VirtualBox image as imported disk in virt-manager.
It offers a "vdi" type as storage format in the VM.
But when I try to start the VM it says:
Error starting domain: internal error unknown disk format 'vdi' for /tmp/test.vdi
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/asyncjob.py", line 96, in cb_wrapper

if ret == -1: raise libvirtError ('virDomainCreate() failed', dom=self)
libvirtError: internal error unknown disk format 'vdi' for /tmp/test.vdi
AFAIK, libvirt shouldn't have support for vdi, at least it's not listed here:
http://libvirt.org/storage.html#StorageBackendDir
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Chris.
