[Pkg-libvirt-maintainers] Bug#756159: qemu-kvm: Please build binary with SATA and hda sound support

Hi,

I had the same problem with an old virtual machine on an Ubuntu 14.04 
system (after upgrading).

Here I solved it by changing

<emulator>/usr/bin/kvm</emulator>
to
<emulator>/usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64</emulator>

My Machine has the following type:
<type arch='x86_64' machine='pc-1.2'>hvm</type>
