Hi,

so far I have tried the patch [1] on a wheezy-backports and a jessie
installation.

They both have libvirt 1.2.9 though slightly different builds.

When the patch is applied, the migrated XML is still based on actual XML
instead of the origin XML.

If I statically set (ref. attached/modified patch) the publicActual to
false after the if-clause the migrated XML is correctly based on the
origin XML.

So something seems to be wrong with that if-clause.

At the same time Laine Stump tried to reproduce the issue. His vanilla
1.2.9 is fixed with the patch [1] referenced in my initial bugreport.

I also tested the experimental debian sources for libvirt 1.2.12. While
these already contain [1] they exhibit the same issue that the migrated
XML is based on the actual XML instead of the origin.
