Package: virt-manager
Version: 1:1.0.1-3
Severity: normal
Attempting to run virt-manager on a remote machine through an SSH tunnel with X11 forwarding fails.
With --debug output shows:
[Fri, 16 Jan 2015 21:03:02 virt-manager 4327] DEBUG (console:1494) Starting connect process for proto=spice trans=None connh
ost=127.0.0.1 connuser=None connport=None gaddr=127.0.0.1 gport=5900 gtlsport=None gsocket=None
(virt-manager:4327): GSpice-CRITICAL **: spice_session_set_shared_dir: assertion 'dir != NULL' failed
[xcb] Extra reply data still left in queue
[xcb] This is most likely caused by a broken X extension library
[xcb] Aborting, sorry about that.
python2: ../../src/xcb_io.c:576: _XReply: Assertion `!xcb_xlib_extra_reply_data_left' failed.
Regards,
Daniel
