Could it need to be rebuilt?

Does anybody else see the same problem?

The guest is Debian jessie / default GNOME 3 desktop and the client is
Debian stretch / default GNOME 3 desktop.

I also raised it upstream[1], they suggested Wayland could be a problem
(stretch default) but I disabled Wayland and I still have the problem.
