Package: libguestfs-tools
Version: 1:1.38.4-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

when one runs guestfish on a system without a kernel installed (like a
container) one gets the error message below. This is because guestfish
runs supermin with --copy-kernel. Thus, having a kernel image available
is required for some functionality of libguestfs-tools and the package
should at least Recommends such a linux kernel image package.

Thanks!

cheers, josch

I looked for kernels in /boot and modules in /lib/modules.

If this is a Xen guest, and you only have Xen domU kernels
installed, try installing a fullvirt kernel (only for
supermin use, you shouldn't boot the Xen guest with it).
