Source: libguestfs
Version: 1:1.42.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I'd like to upload Erlang 23 for the bullseye release, but it makes
libguestfs fail to build from source, because it uses liberl_interface
which has been removed from the Erlang distribution.

Unfortunately, I can't suggest any patch to port erl-guestfs to libei,
it's not a drop-in replacement, porting would neet substantial work.

So, in the meantime, I'd suggest to report this incompatibility upstream,
and stop shipping the erlang-guestfs binary package. It can be restored
later, when all the porting will be done.

Cheers!
