Package: libguestfs-tools
Version: 1:1.44.0-2
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: frederic.pierret at qubes-os.org
Dear Maintainer,
Using commit description from upstream: "In RHEL 8+, /usr/etc no longer exists.
Since we were looking for this directory in order to detect a separate /usr
partition, those were no longer detected, so the merging of /usr data into
the root was not being done."
Please consider upgrading to libguest-tools 1.45.6+ or patching current
version with commit https://github.com/libguestfs/libguestfs/commit/26427b9ecc64e7e5e53a1d577cef9dc080d08877
The current 1.44 version makes impossible to use every action of virt-*
tools who try to identify arch. E.g., virt-customize and run related
actions fails because of 'unknown' detected arch.
Thank you very much in advance.
