</div><div>Hello everyone,</div><div><br></div><div>I have been trying to convert a normal config.cfg file to python format using the libvirt packages</div><div>provided by Debian Squeeze repositories, but it exits given the following error:</div>
<div><br></div><div># virsh -c xen:/// domxml-from-native xen-xm winxp.cfg > config.xml</div><div>error: An error occurred, but the cause is unknown</div><div><br></div><div>Yet, I tested it with libvirt versions 0.8.3 and 0.9.2 (most recent in Debian Squeeze for AMD64).</div>
<div>For reference, I attatch my config.cfg file but indeed there are no last entries giving information about</div><div>the error neither in /var/log/messages nor in /var/log/libvirt/libvirtd.log.</div><div><br></div><div>
Virsh information is described as follows:</div><div>Compiled against library: libvir 0.9.2</div>
<div>Using library: libvir 0.9.2</div><div>Using API: Xen 3.0.1</div><div>Running hypervisor: Xen 4.1.0</div><div><br></div><div>I have solved the issue of converting to XML by doing:</div><div># xm new winxp.cfg</div>
<div>and</div><div># virsh dumpxml winxp</div><div><br></div><div>But I keep trying to find the solution for virsh and suggest that this problem be corrected.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks a lot.</div><div><br></div><div>
