Bug#586900: llvm-2.7: Please use the debian alternatives

Hi all,

I'm a DM currently going throught the DD process and I've just
joined this list, hoping to help on the packaging of LLVM for
Debian.

Recently I raised the following bug:

A couple of questions:

  - Is the LLVM packaging kept in public rev control somewhere?

  - Do any of the existing maintainers think that using the
    alternatives system is a bad idea?

  - Anyone mind if I work using the alternatives system?
