Sylvestre,

I just rebuilt from scratch using a freshly updated sid-cowbuilder image
and FWIW I can't reproduce your error. Here the lsb_release and uname
output from inside my cowbuilder environment:

# lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID:	Debian
Description:	Debian GNU/Linux unstable (sid)
Release:	unstable
Codename:	sid
# uname -a
Linux perrin 2.6.38-8-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:24 UTC
2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Are you, by any chance, building on i686?
