Bug#885856: llvm-toolchain-3.8: ExecutionEngine/MCJIT/remote/test-global-init-nonzero-remote.ll stalls on armhf

Version: 1:3.8.1-27
So, I've tried to manually build llvm 3.8 and 3.9 on an armhf host¹ to
debug the timeouts on the buildds.
It seems they get stuck (for more than 12 hours now, killing them) on
the test named
LLVM :: ExecutionEngine/MCJIT/remote/test-global-init-nonzero-remote.ll
with the 4 process (i.e. parallel=4) all at 100%.
I also tried to attach strace to one of those 4 processes, but nothing
went through.
So, yes. Those timeouts are real stalls and a real bug, not just a
timeout hitting too early.
PS: not cloning to 3.9 on purpose, I guess there is no point in
duplicating the bug when it most probably it is the very same thing.
¹ OT: I wanted to do that on an arm64 host with an armhf chroot, but it
seems llvm fails on that as it passes -march=armv8-a to gcc (it really
shouldn't), and then it failed with '#error "DFSan not supported for
this platform!"'.
