The equivalent issue for llvm-toolchain-17 (cloned as #1104231) seems to
have a fix proposed in
<https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-llvm-team/llvm-toolchain/-/merge_requests/166>.
It looks as though that MR would also resolve #1055371, a similar issue
reported in 2023 regarding libpolly-17-dev.
(I know that the LLVM maintainers and the release team are trying to
remove llvm-toolchain-17 rather than updating it, but that removal is
blocked by several AMD-GPU-related packages, notably amdgcn-tools which
is a build-dependency of gcc-13, so it might be pragmatic to fix
llvm-toolchain-17's RC bugs in the meantime.)
