Package: llvm-libunwind1
Version: 1:21.1.8-3
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,
Almost all of the LLVM packages contain an unversioned form, to allow a
user to easily install the latest version of the package.
libunwind-N-dev does not, presumably only because the name was not
available -- libunwind-dev is a packaging of a different implementation
of the libunwind API. (libunwind-dev also cannot be used as a drop-in
replacement because it's not built with PIC enabled.)
It would be useful for Debian to provide an unversioned dev package for
LLVM libunwind, even though that will presumably require selecting a
different package name such as llvm-libunwind-dev.
Thanks!
