Package maintenance has stopped for 5 years, current version
is lagging behind and fail to install most lua packages from repository.

I intent to salvage this package:

Also I propose to switch Maintainer to:
Debian Lua Team <pkg-lua-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org>
and set myself as Uploader.
Being a luarocks user (for some time, and will be for some years),
i've prepared an update, available on salsa:
