So I can reproduce that on a Jessie system with
 linux-image-4.5.0-0.bpo.2-amd64 4.5.4-1~bpo8+1
But cannot on the same system when I boot
 linux-image-4.6.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 4.6.1-1~bpo8+1

Xavier, can you confirm that?

Still think this is the case, but did not investigate further.
If it works for you in 4.6, I'd just close this bug as a glitch in the matrix and carry on, ok?
