Package: lxc
Version: 1:2.0.7-2+deb9u2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

after running "apt upgrade" today I am no longer able to attach to my
lxc containers. The following happens if I want to attach to them:

root at okean0s:/home/sqall# lxc-attach -n satellite
lxc-attach: relocation error: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnss_files.so.2:
symbol __libc_readline_unlocked, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in
file libc.so.6 with link time reference

Furthermore, I started to get frequent error messages in my auth.log
which state:

Aug 6 14:15:02 okean0s PAM-CGFS[8506]: Failed to get list of
controllers

Searching for this error let to this bug
(https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2018/07/msg00382.html) which is
also lxc related.

My guess would be that due to the linking problem the error message in
the log also occurred.

The apt/history.log states that the following packages were updated:

Start-Date: 2019-08-06 13:10:07
Commandline: apt upgrade
Upgrade: linux-libc-dev:amd64 (4.9.168-1+deb9u3, 4.9.168-1+deb9u4),
linux-image-4.9.0-9-amd64:amd64 (4.9.168-1+deb9u3, 4.9.168-1+deb9u4),
libzmq5:amd64 (4.2.1-4+deb9u1, 4.2.1-4+deb9u2), libsvn1:amd64
(1.9.5-1+deb9u3, 1.9.5-1+deb9u4), subversion:amd64 (1.9.5-1+deb9u3,
1.9.5-1+deb9u4), patch:amd64 (2.7.5-1+deb9u1, 2.7.5-1+deb9u2),
debian-archive-keyring:amd64 (2017.5, 2017.5+deb9u1)
End-Date: 2019-08-06 13:10:52

Thanks for your help in advance,

sqall
