  lxc-templates is deprecated upstream in favor of distrobuilder. You
didn't mention what version of Debian you're running; I added a NEWS
entry[0] for the version that will be included in the upcoming trixie
release. I'm not opposed to accepting targeted fixes for lxc-templates,
but be aware that I expect lxc-templates to go away, maybe in forky+1
(or +2).

  Of course, direct contributions upstream benefit everyone, so that's
where I'd recommend starting.
