Package: pcmanfm
Version: 0.9.8-1
Severity: normal
My default text editor is a .desktop file that launches 'vim' with the
key Terminal=true set in the file. This application so configured works
fine as default opener for text formats everywhere -- from nautilus or
from other launchers that use the normal file associations.
When a text file is opened in pcmanfm using this application (the
default application in my case), pcmanfm simply opens a terminal. It
fails to run the actual 'vim' or other program inside the terminal,
instead a shell runs inside the terminal (like in a new terminal
window).
The configured terminal in gnome is gnome-terminal as usual
(gnome-terminal -x)
