Hi Vagrant,

Thanks for report this. I have no idea why it resets it from manual mode
to auto mode.

As install gnome-session to test requires to install a lot of packages
and I am going to make a new upload for DebConf11 ending release tonight.

Would you mind to help to do more test and find how to resolve this problem?

PS. if you have the solution, welcome to do an NMU.
