hi peeps
I was thinking about diving into the packaging world to be able to lend a
hand to the Debian side of things.
As far as I can remmeber and workout from PTS and such you use git for
storing the package and I have seen parts of the process but really don't
know much about it.
I know git in and out since I maintain our build environment at work, I
"just" need the crash course in how to do importing of upstream git and
make it produce the package in the other end of things.
When it comes to basic debs I have some knowledge but with huge gaps.
What's the best straight up way of doing things?
I do build the upstream code already so the tool chain is complete from
that perspective.
Maybe a recorded session on one of the component would be sufficient and I
can ask the questions from there?
Any takers?
