Subject: lxterminal: command input as -e option cannot be with arguments
Package: lxterminal
Version: 0.3.0-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I used to launch lxterminal from a .desktop file with some command
as the -e option (in my case, ssh). However, after upgrading from
Jessie to Stretch, lxterminal would not accept an argument to -e
option with a space in it. For example, the following lines do not work:

lxterminal -e 'ls -l'
lxterminal -e 'less lx*.desktop'

(a terminal window with a blinking cursor and the argument for -e used
as a title appear; if the title is set via the -t option, it is as
determined
by that option). While, for example,

lxterminal -e 'top'

works as expected, and obviosly also

lxterminal -e 'ls'

does (but the window expectedly closes, so it's only my guess).

Please look at this bug, maybe it persists also for newer versions.

Yours faithfully,
Igors Mihailovs
