this sounds reasonable to me.

In my local installation, I solved this issue by upgrading librsvg2-common (and
librsvg2-2) from 2.44.10-2.1 to 2.44.14-1.

Thus Bernhard's suggestion regarding the patch for librsvg2 would probably be a
great relief for many LXDE users on Buster.
