   * What led up to the situation?
Update the package to the fresh version. It should fix all the problems.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
I get org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied when tried to do anything
     in vpn editor
