[pkg-lynx-maint] Fixing 784430 (https error) in stable

I have prepared a stable upload to fix the https regression in stable.
Patch is attached, I have not commited to git yet.

a) Could you please take a quick look at the patch.
b) How should I name the branch in the repository to commit this,
   "jessie", or "debian/jessie" or ... ?
