Well, the book is just about package management, i.e. making the
sysadmin's life easier, not about packaging. (We though cover
metapackages a little bit, e.g. how to build a hacky one with equivs.
:-)

Thanks. JFTR: It didn't work on the first try. Took a few iterations
until I got everything (hopefully) right. :-)

Yeah, lintian helps a lot in detecting common or well-known issues.
And I always run it with --pedantic. (My sponsorees know that. ;-)

Yeah, I'm aware of that. I wanted to change as few things as possible
in your patch.

But part of my common packaging workflow is to always update the
signature when I change UNRELEASED to unstable or experimental --
mostly because of the time-stamp, but it will also update the
uploader. So yes, I'll change that before uploading. :-)

Will likely do that later this evening.
