Well, not having a consensus about lynx-common clearly was one reason.

The second reason was that package renamings are always hairy with
regards to getting Replaces, Breaks and friends correctly on the first
upload.

Not knowing when it will pass NEW and maybe interfering with a
transition or such was the third one.
