I'm in the process of catching up with the current upstream version but
the gtk frontend is not yet considered to be stable so it will not be part
of the next Debian package I hope to provide with the help of some other people
soon.

I hope that I can come back to your offer to test packages later this week
but that might be just a brave wish.
