[Pkg-lyx-devel] Bug#329331: Really???

I think George is referring to LyX not converting the images, but
relying on external services your current system has or could have to
accomplish this task.
 
For instance, JPEG, PNG, GIF, PGM, etc  has gimp-remote be its editor
and the system's current viewer associated with the extension handle its
preview mode.

EPS is managed by GhostView (GV).
