If I'm not mistaken, that was an upstream bug in TeXLive 2007 (it
includes simplecv in its tarball, but doesn't mention it anywhere in its
tpm files which determine what is installed), but is now fixed in the
upstream repository:

$ grep simplecv Master/tlpkg/tlpsrc/*
Master/tlpkg/tlpsrc/collection-latexextra.tlpsrc:depend Package/simplecv
Master/tlpkg/tlpsrc/simplecv.tlpsrc:name simplecv

The question is now: Can we just wait for TeXLive 2008, or should we fix
it as soon as possible?  As a note to the submitter and the Lyx team:
TeXLive most likely won't be released early enough to be included in
lenny. 

So I guess we should try to fix this, right?
