Yes of course, that's been more or less the opinion of some DDs not all.
Well it's the IRC thing, you start of with a small question and suddenly
you've kind of an overboarding discussion about such best practise things.
While I agree that it would be reasonable to maybe adjust the reference
it's not really important at all.

Joey Schulze once said that DDs are mostly people with strong opinions
which results in strong discussions. I think that's pretty much true even
for things like NEWS files. ;)
