Thanks for the answer, this is what I thought the answer would be :( In 
the case of LyX, this is not good news, since we try hard to have a 
stable branch which is actually stable.

And would you consider proposing LyX 2.0.8 or even 2.1.2 in the 
backports directory for stable?
