Hi,

 I am still thinking on how to solve #276469 :
On installation, mailman creates the user with this command:
adduser --system --home /var/list --ingroup list list
The directory /var/list does not exist, is not created and
(I think) is wrong anyway.

The reporter is right IMHO; what about changing it to /usr/lib/mailman ?
/var/lib/mailman may be an other candidate, but I am open to suggestions
from others (hope there's still some life left).
