(sorry for the dupe - "From:" address was mistyped, which makes
 answering difficult :) )

Dear Tollef,

I'm writing to you on the subject of Mailman maintenance in Debian.

As you have probably seen, I have started to be more active on Mailman
maintenance. You seem to be rather inactive on Mailman, while still
active generally (blog & ML posts, uploads of other packages, ...). I
have also "convinced" Laurent Fousse to try to help out a little,
limited time permitting and all.

Up to now, I've done only pretty urgent or "low hanging fruit" things
on the package, and only committed to the svn repo (no upload). Before
I make deeper changes (or an upload), I'd like to hear from you - the
official maintainer.

What is your situation with respect to Debian in Mailman and how would
you like the future to look like?

 - You want to stay in the driver's seat and will be more responsive
than in the last few months (let's say it takes you 2-3 weeks max
on median and on average to make an upload prepared by others or
other activities for which you are the only person empowered to
   do)?

Then, please replace my "lmamane-guest" account by my "lmamane"
account in the alioth project and add "lfousse" to the project.

 - The whole team shares maintainership and everybody works on it
"time permitting", uploads done by any (willing) DD of the group.

Then, please replace my "lmamane-guest" account by my "lmamane"
account in the alioth project and add "lfousse" to the project.

In particular, if you don't foresee having reasonable time for
mailman-in-Debian in the near future, please make at least one of
us (lmamane or Laszlo) admin on the alioth project (so that we can
   add new volunteers, etc).

 - Something else?

Somewhat, but not completely, orthogonally to the previous question:

 - Shall we put pkg-mailman-hackers at lists.alioth.debian.org in the
"Maintainer:" field of the package and people (a set between
{tfheen} and {tfheen, laszlo, lmamane, lfousse}) as "Uploader:"?

This ensures that everyone on the team gets all the relevant email
(bugs, testing migration, binary uploads, ...), without having to
   manage many PTS subscriptions.

Best Regards,
