Hello People,

At first, I would like to thank you very much for your hard
work for Debian project! I'm really thankful for it,
because your efforts are very helpful for me.

I'm writing to you, because I need to backport mailman 2.1.9-2
for Debian 'sarge'. I just have some successes, because
I've been able to backport quilt and python-support packages.

I've noticed that I need testing or unstable debhelper (>= 5)
for Build-Depends. Of course, I don't have that version
of debhelper, because I rather prefer pure stable environment
and I install backports only if it's really necessary.

So my question is: do I really need newer version of debhelper?
I fixed debian/control and debian/compat files and built
my backport without any errors or warnings. Do you think
that my changes make sense and there are safe?

My best regards,

Pawel Tecza
