[Pkg-mailman-hackers] Updating patches

Hi all,

As you may have seen from the svn notification I have branched 2.1.9 to
start working on it.
While I update the patches I have seen lots of them that should be
integrated upstream IMHO.
Has anyone already contacted upstream submiting Debian patches?
If so, what was the result?
I'll start contacting upstream as soon as I finish updating patches to
see if they'll integrate at least some of them on the next release.
