Hey,
Thanks for your bug report, and sorry for the delay.
Indeed, the file is owned by both packages and as they conflict, the latter
wants to get rid of the one from the former. I'm not sure there's anything
we can do to smoothen the transition.
I'll ask out for some adivce in case I missed something, but it's possible
that all people having installed -core will have to handle manually the
transition and its side effects.
