[Pkg-mailman-hackers] Bug#1053502: 1053502 and 1041496 appear to be the same bug

hi maintainers,

1053502 and 1041496 appear to be the same mailman3-web update bug.
My guess is that they should be merged, but I'm still extremely new to mailman3,
so better that someone who understands the package sends the merge command.
