Bug#791377: mate-screensaver: mate-screensave authenticates, blinks and then....goes right back to mate-screensaver dialog box

Dear Maintainer,
This is with the latest upstream. It basically exhibits the same
behavior each time. The only workaround that I use which was at back
of my mind and the one which Mike Gabriel also suggested at
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=785739#29  i.e.
killing mate-screensaver.

So there is improvement in the sense that in the screensaver  'the
password field will gain focus' each time.

As shared dunno why it sends me back to the password field dialog box
each time.

If I was typing the password wrong then I shouldn't have been able to
gain access to tty's because I have been using the same password for
logging on to a user session having the same username and credentials.
